This book describes, from a practical and clinical point of view, the most relevant disorders affecting the adrenal and thyroid axes in cats and dogs. It is intended to help veterinary surgeons in the diagnosis of both common disorders of the endocrine system, such as Cushings syndrome and hypothyroidism, and less frequent pathologies, such as adrenal insufficiency and hyperthyroidism. Images of the different disorders are provided together with guidelines to help clinicians reach a definitive diagnosis and choose the most appropriate treatment, which should be available and accessible in their region of practice.
